Reportes

DueñoAdministrador

Reportes are detailed lists you can download as Excel (a .csv file you open with any spreadsheet) to analyze your business outside Nexta or hand to your accountant.

Difference from the Dashboard

The Dashboard gives you a visual summary with aggregated numbers. Reportes give you the full detail: every order, every product sold, every expense recorded — one per row, ready to filter and analyze.

Go to Reportes

From the sidebar, Reportes. You will see three tabs:

TabWhat it exports
PedidosAll orders in the period with their items, totals and payment method.
ProductosEach product sold in the period with quantity and total billed.
GastosEach expense recorded in the period with category, distributor and amount.

Common filters

Before exporting, all tabs let you filter by:

  • Desde / Hasta — date range. By default, this month.
  • Estado (in Pedidos) — only paid orders, voided, all.
  • Categoría (in Productos and Gastos) — filter by a specific category.
  • Distribuidor (in Gastos) — filter by distributor.

How to download

  1. Choose the tab (Pedidos / Productos / Gastos).
  2. Adjust the filters (date range, etc.).
  3. Click Descargar CSV.
  4. The file downloads instantly with the name <negocio>-<reporte>-<fecha>.csv.
  5. Open it with Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers.

Pedidos report

One row per order, with columns:

  • Order number and invoice sequence number.
  • Date and time.
  • Table (or "Mostrador" / "Online").
  • Customer (name, email, phone if applicable).
  • Summarized items (2x Hamburguesa, 1x Cerveza).
  • Subtotal, discount, coupon, tip, total.
  • Payment method.
  • Status (Entregado, Anulado, etc.).
  • Who collected it.

What it is used for

  • Monthly accounting — full list to reconcile with the cash register.
  • Pattern analysis — which payment method is used most, which days you have the most sales.
  • Validating the dashboard — if you have any doubt about the numbers, export and add them up yourself.

Productos report

One row per product sold in the period. If the same product was sold 50 times, a single row appears with the total quantity and total amount.

Columns:

  • Category.
  • Product.
  • Quantity sold.
  • Average unit price (may vary if it has sizes / extras).
  • Total amount billed (quantity × price).
  • Percentage of the period total.

What it is used for

  • Menu decisions — what sells the most, what barely moves.
  • Negotiating with distributors — you know how much you bought of each supply in the month.
  • Margin analysis — you combine it with your costs in a separate sheet.

Gastos report

One row per expense recorded in the period.

Columns:

  • Sequence number.
  • Date.
  • Category (Insumos, Alquiler, Sueldos, Servicios, Mantenimiento, Marketing, Otro).
  • Description.
  • Distributor (if applicable).
  • Payment method.
  • Amount.
  • Who recorded it.

What it is used for

  • Monthly accounting — hand it to your accountant together with the sales reports.
  • Expense analysis — am I spending more on supplies this month than last month?
  • Bank reconciliation — check that the transfer payments you recorded as expenses match your bank statement.

CSV file format

  • Separator: comma (,).
  • Encoding: UTF-8 with BOM (so Excel displays accents and ñ correctly).
  • Decimals: with a period (.).
  • Headers: in Spanish, in the first row.

Open in Excel

Double-click. If Excel asks how to import, choose comma-delimited and UTF-8. If your accents look strange, open it with Google Sheets instead (it always detects the encoding correctly).

What happens if…?

…the range is very large and the download is slow

Ranges of up to 3 months download in seconds. For longer periods it can take 10–30 seconds. If your business is very high volume, split it into monthly batches.

…I need a field that doesn't appear in the CSV

Today the reports include the fields that cover 95% of cases. If you need something specific (e.g. a custom field), write to us through the support channel and we will evaluate it for upcoming versions.

…I want a report for a single day / a single shift

Go to POS → Historial to see the orders of the current shift. For a calendar day, use the range filter with "desde = hasta = the day you want".

…the report shows voided orders

By default they are included for auditing. If you want to exclude them, use the Estado: Entregado filter in Pedidos.
