Equipo y permisos

DueñoAdministradorAsignar Dueño es exclusivo de Dueño

The Equipo screen lists everyone who has access to your business in Nexta. From here you can add members, change their role and remove them.

What the screen looks like

Everything lives in one table: the same list shows who has access, with which role, and their employment details.

  • Summary at the top — count by role: Dueño · Administrador · Cajero · Mesero · Cocinero.
  • Toolbar — search by name or email, a Rol filter, and the Agregar por email and Nuevo miembro buttons.
  • Table — member (avatar + name + email + phone), role, document, start date, status and actions (edit schedule, view record, remove access).
    • Sorted by hierarchy within each page: Dueño → Administrador → Cajero → Mesero → Cocinero.
    • Paginated (10 / 20 / 50 per page).
    • On mobile it is shown as cards with the role selector built in.

Only the Dueño changes access

The role selector, the two add buttons and the remove action are only available to the Dueño. An Administrador sees the same list read-only, with a notice explaining it.

"Tú" in the list

Your own row shows a "Tú" badge. The role selector and the delete button are disabled on your row — by design, nobody can remove themselves from the business.

Two ways to add someone

A) Create a new account and add it — Nuevo miembro button

Use it when the person does not have an account in Nexta yet.

FieldRequiredNotes
NombreYesMinimum 2 characters.
EmailYesMust be unique in Nexta — it cannot already exist.
ContraseñaYesMinimum 8 characters.
Teléfono—Optional.
RolYesAdministrador · Trabajador · Cliente. Dueño cannot be assigned here.

The system creates the account and adds it to your business in a single step. The person can log in at nextapos.com/login with that email + password right away.

B) Invite by email — Agregar por email button

Works for any email — the person may or may not already have a Nexta account. Either way they receive an invitation and join your team only when they accept it. Nobody is added to a business without agreeing to it.

FieldRequiredNotes
EmailYesAny valid email.
RolYesAdministrador · Trabajador · Cliente (not Dueño here).

The system creates a pending invitation with a unique link (valid for 7 days) and emails it:

Asunto: Te invitaron a {tu negocio} — Nexta Contenido: "Fuiste invitado al equipo como {rol}."

On your screen you see: "Invitación enviada · {email} recibirá un correo con el enlace para unirse al equipo." and the person does not appear yet in the list. They appear once they accept.

What the person sees when they open the link depends on whether they already had an account:

The email DOES NOT have a Nexta account yet

The email says "Aún no tienes cuenta en Nexta. Crea tu contraseña en el siguiente paso para activar tu acceso" with the button Crear cuenta y unirse. The screen shows their email pre-filled and locked, and they set their name, a password (with match validation) and an optional phone.

When they confirm:

  1. Their Nexta account is created automatically
  2. They are added as a member of your business with the role you assigned
  3. They are logged in and go straight to the business dashboard

The email ALREADY has a Nexta account

The email says "Ya tienes cuenta en Nexta. Confirma con tu contraseña en el siguiente paso para unirte" with the button Aceptar invitación. The screen asks only for Tu contraseña de Nexta — the one they already use to log in. It is what proves the account is theirs: the link alone is not enough.

When they confirm, they are added to your business with the role you assigned and go straight to its dashboard. Their name, email and password do not change.

Why the person has to accept

Nexta does not tell you whether an email already has an account, and it never adds somebody to a business on the spot. That protects everyone: nobody can put your account inside a business you did not agree to join.

Pending invitations

If you try to invite the same email twice before they accept, Nexta detects the pending invitation and tells you: "Ya hay una invitación pendiente para este email". If 7 days pass without acceptance, the token expires and you can generate a new one.

Common messages and errors

  • "Este usuario ya es miembro del negocio" — the person is already on your team.
  • "Ya hay una invitación pendiente para este email" — you issued an invitation that has not been accepted yet.
  • "Límite del plan alcanzado: máximo X miembros" — you need to upgrade your plan to add more people.

Change someone's role

In the row, the role selector switches between Administrador · Trabajador · Cliente.

Administrador cannot promote to Dueño

If an Administrador tries to assign the Dueño role, Nexta blocks it with a clear message. This prevents privilege escalation.

Don't change yourself

The system blocks it as soon as it detects that you are the one being modified. To "step down" yourself, first promote someone else to Dueño and ask them to change your role.

Each change is recorded in the business's activity history (who did it, when, from which role, to which role).

Remove a member

Trash can button in the row → confirmation modal → Quitar acceso.

Remove yourself——

What exactly is removed

Only access to this business is removed. The person's global account stays intact and they can keep working in other businesses where they are a member.

Being left without a Dueño

Today the system does not prevent the last Dueño from being removed. If you are the only Dueño and an Administrador removes you by mistake, the business is left without an owner until Nexta support steps in.

The practical protection: an Administrador can never remove a Dueño (they need to be a Dueño to do it). And a Dueño cannot remove themselves. The only way to end up without a Dueño is for one Dueño to remove the other and then remove themselves — and that second step is blocked.

Before "transferring": first promote the new owner to Dueño, make sure they logged in and saw that they are Dueño, and only then step yourself down to Administrador / Trabajador / Cliente.

Transfer the Dueño role

There is no "transfer" button — it is just another role change, but with a safe order:

  1. As the current Dueño, you change the new owner's role to Dueño.
  2. Now the business has two Dueños. That is valid — a business can have several.
  3. If you want to leave the role, another Dueño (the new one) has to change your role to Administrador / Trabajador / Cliente.

Recommendation

Operationally it is a good idea to always have at least two Dueños — a primary one and a backup. That way, if the primary loses access for any reason, someone can manage the team.

How many members can I have

It depends on the plan:

PlanMaximum members
FREE2
STARTER5
PRO20
ENTERPRISEUnlimited

The Dueño counts toward the limit. On FREE, the Dueño + 1 more person is the maximum.

If you try to add one extra and you are at the cap, Nexta warns you with a message like "Límite del plan alcanzado: máximo X miembros del equipo. Actualizá tu plan para continuar."
