Module: Productos

The Productos module is the business's catalog. It includes three pieces that work together:

• Productos — the items you sell.
• Categorías — the groups they live in (Hamburguesas, Bebidas, Postres…).
• Extras (toppings) — the optional add-ons (Queso, Salsa, Aguacate).

How they relate

Categoría

An extra is not tied to the product — it is tied to the category. When the customer orders any product in that category, the extras appear as options.

Stock: two modes

Each product and each extra can have:

Mode	Behavior
Sin tracking	Always appears. Nothing is deducted when it is sold.
Con tracking	One unit is deducted per sale. If it reaches 0 it is hidden from the public menu. The POS still lists it (Agotado) and sells it after a confirmation; the stock then goes negative.

You switch modes simply by filling in or clearing the stock field.

Availability vs Stock 0 vs Deleted

There are three ways for a product to not appear on the public menu:

Soft-delete: why

When you delete a product that has historical orders, Nexta doesn't really delete it — it hides it and keeps traceability. Old invoices still show what was sold.

This is on purpose: invoices are immutable for accounting reasons and we can't break historical data.

Bulk import

The module supports importing products from an Excel (CSV) file with a simple format. Categories that don't exist are created automatically, prices and stock are validated row by row, and at the end you see a report of created items / errors.

Who uses this module

Role	What they can do
Dueño	Everything (create, edit, delete, import, stock adjustment).
Administrador	Everything (same as Dueño in this module).
Trabajador	Manual stock adjustment only (entry / exit with a reason). Cannot edit products.
Cliente	Sees the available products on the public menu.
